Thurman Station Association actively promotes the community of Thurman, NY, by sponsoring events and
projects to publicize the town and the products, services and entertainment offered here.

TSA particularly seeks ways to involve Thurman Station and the Saratoga & North Creek Railway
(SNCRR) in those efforts, hoping to create ways for the towns surrounding the station to draw train
travelers to the First Wilderness Heritage Corridor. The town has a proud tradition of trade and tourism
centered around the railroad.

TSA is proud to have received financial support of its projects from various sources.

The town of Thurman currently currently contracts with TSA to utilize a portion of the town’s
allotment of Warren County occupancy tax dollars for the purpose of publicizing the Town of
Thurman. Those funds are segregated from the association’s own financial resources and are
disbursed to event organizers, project planners and the volunteer publicist through a publicized grant
process
